About us

Clothes that don’t shout, they just work.

Tom Peerce is about the pieces you reach for without thinking – the T-shirt that sits right on the shoulder, the trousers that fall clean over your shoes, the sweatshirt that looks put together even when you got dressed in five minutes. We keep the design quiet, obsess over the fit, and let the fabric do the talking so you can get on with your day feeling like yourself, just a bit more dialled in.

Everyday clothes, tuned with a tailor’s eye.

Tom Peerce started with a simple idea: take the kind of pieces you wear on repeat and treat them with the same care usually reserved for “special” clothes. We fit on real people, adjust centimetre by centimetre, and keep tweaking until the garment sits exactly how it should when you’re standing still, walking to work, or slumped on the sofa at the end of the day. The goal isn’t to reinvent your wardrobe; it’s to quietly upgrade the things you already live in.

Every fabric is chosen because it feels good now and still feels good after a hard year of washes, commutes, late nights and last-minute trips. Seams are finished properly, trims are considered, and nothing unnecessary makes it onto the garment. If it doesn’t improve comfort, movement or longevity, it doesn’t stay. What’s left are honest, reliable essentials that age with you and slowly become “your” pieces – the ones people ask you about without quite knowing why they look so right.

Proportions that move

Every block starts with real bodies, not a flat drawing. We look at how a shoulder drops when you’re carrying a bag, how a sleeve twists when you reach for your phone, how a hem sits when you’re half-tucked into a waistband. Ease is built in where you actually need to move, and things are tightened up where a clean line matters, so the clothes never feel fussy but always look considered from every angle.

Clean construction

Inside each piece you’ll find neat, predictable workmanship: straight seams, tidy binding, and reinforcement wherever stress tends to show up after months of wear. We work closely with our makers to maintain a consistent standard, so when you pick up a second or third Tom Peerce piece it feels reassuringly familiar – no surprises, no shortcuts, just well-built clothes that hold their shape and don’t give up before you do.

Fabric first

We start with the hand-feel and work backwards. Jerseys have enough weight to drape rather than cling, wovens have a quiet structure that relaxes with wear, and every dye is chosen to soften and age rather than crack or fade out unevenly. These are fabrics designed to live in the real world – on morning trains, in open-plan offices, at late dinners – and to come out of the wash ready to go again without needing special treatment or a gentle cycle life plan.
